Retainer Insurance in New Jersey

  • 3 sets of clear retainers per year for 5 years
  • $899 one-time (can be included in your financing plan), or 4 payments: $225 × 3, then a final $224
  • $50 copay per new set ($100 if a new scan and 3D-printed model are needed)

Urban Orthodontics is committed to providing our patients with a smile that lasts a lifetime. It is for that reason we offer our Retainer program. With a one time fee of $899 (that can be included in your financing payment plan) or an initial payment of $225 and 2 payments of $225 and 1 final payment of $224. This program offers our patients up to 3 clear removable retainers per year, for 5 years. Replacement retainers can cost $300.00+ each. The Retainer Program gives you peace of mind and protects your beautiful smile!

  • Personal and nonrefundable.
  • Covers up to 3 sets per year if a retainer is lost or broken.
  • One retainer or set at a time (this is an insurance plan).
  • More than 3 sets means regular price per retainer.
  • $50 copay on the day of scan/impression or mold drop-off, per new set.
  • $100 copay if the patient has lost their mold.
  • Does not include Hawley or fixed retainers.

Retainers are meant to retain, not move teeth. Any appliances required to move teeth that have shifted (e.g., spring retainers, braces, Invisalign) are not covered under this program and will have separate fees.

Insurance & Billing

After verification of coverage, we will agree to bill and collect from an insurance carrier. However, we ask patients to understand that if coverage ceases or changes, the patient is still responsible for the agreed-upon fee.

Whether or not you have insurance or a dental plan, we will structure a convenient payment plan that allows you to pay for orthodontic services over a period of time that typically aligns with your treatment plan.
